Manufacturing
The vertically integrated Amaravathi Textiles plant extends over 190,000 sq. ft. State-of-the-art facilities for every stage from spinning to finishing include:
- An 18,000-spindle spinning facility, with a production capacity of 7 tons/day of combed and carded yarns for weaving and knitting applications.
- A 72- loom weaving division with diverse functional looms, capable of creating a variety of innovative designs and of weaving wide-width fabrics of up to 330 cm. The latest electronic jacquard looms and terry dobbies are a part of the infrastructure.
- Processing facility with PLC-controlled cheese dyeing machines for yarn dyeing and soft flow dyeing machines for terry fabric dyeing. A high-tech Reverse Osmosis Plant with multi-effect evaporators has been installed to achieve zero-discharge of process effluents.
- JUKI lockstitch sewing machines are employed for stitching.
- A well-equipped laboratory with testing facilities for Light Fastness (MBTF), Colour Fastness, Shrinkage Tolerance, Fabric GSM & Yarn Count.
- A comprehensive Finishing section, equipped with steam ironing, vacuum packing and metal detection facilities.
